At 8:00 am on October 27, the 2019 Qingjiangpu International Half Marathon and the China Canal City Marathon opened fire in Huai'an. Attracting players from more than 10 countries and regions such as Ethiopia and Kenya. A total of 15,200 athletes participated. The competition consists of a half marathon (21.0975 km), a commemorative run (12.0 km) and a love run (5.20 km).

After fierce competition, the players from Ethiopia won the men's half marathon in 1 hour, 4 minutes and 09 seconds. The players from Kenya won the women's half-time in 1 hour, 17 minutes and 20 seconds.
