     ShineStage Delay Towers are designed to safely support line array loudspeakers and PA systems in mid-field and far-field positions, extending sound coverage while keeping sightlines clean and the structure stable.

What is a Delay Tower?

A Delay Tower is a freestanding rigging tower used to hang line array loudspeakers or PA systems further back      in the audience area. By adding time-aligned speaker positions, it improves intelligibility and SPL coverage      for audiences that are far away from the main stage.

ShineStage combines years of truss manufacturing experience with project-proven tower designs to offer a robust      delay tower system for touring, rental and fixed outdoor applications.

Tower height & capacity

  • Standard working heights: 14 m and 22 m (custom solutions on request)

  • Designed SWL (standard model): up to 2 t per side / 4 t total for audio loads,        including rigging hardware and safety factors as per engineering calculations

Main truss columns

  • 520 × 520 mm heavy-duty aluminium truss (medium-size audio arrays)

  • 800 × 800 mm heavy-duty aluminium truss (large arrays and higher trim heights)

Base & bracing

  • Square base frame with leveling feet

  • Base extension beams to increase span up to approx. 7.5 m footprint (depending on model)

  • Diagonal bracing struts for column stabilisation

Compatibility

  • Suitable for most major line array brands (adapter frames available on request)

  • Can be integrated with ShineStage stage roofs, ground support systems and crowd-control layouts
